I haven't finished my bachelor yet. How can I submit my application without uploading the certificate of completion?
You should upload a provisional transcript of your results and if you are accepted, you will then be ask to present your diploma or certificate of admission furing your administrative enrollment.
What are the deadlines and when will I get the results?
For the APE and PPD masters:
- Online applications: From January and to late February/early March.
- Answer are given early April. For specific dates, please refere to the home page of this website.
For the EDCBA Master:
- Online applications: From November to July of each year.
- Results: 10 days after submission of the applications

Can I apply to several PSE master programmes?
Yes, you can apply to the 3 programmes, you will have to create a separate applications for each programme and upload the documents required for each application file.
However, you can only apply to the first year or the second year, and not both (APE and PPD programme). You must choose carefully which year you wish to apply to.
What is the ETS code for PSE?
Since PSE is not the institution delivering the degree (it is the EHESS, or Paris 1 for the APE program), we do not have the ETS code assigned. You have to submit a copy of your result sheet or, if not yet received, a screenshot of your results.
Information on reference letters
● What is the required format of the letter?
Please note that there is no specific format for letters of recommendation: the more personalized and detailed they are, the better we can learn to know the candidate’s skills. The reference letters have to be signed by the referee and if possible stamped or on a headed letter.
● Can I upload a reference letter myself?
● How do I know my referees uploaded their letters?
You receive an automatic email each time a reference letter is uploaded.
Moreover, on the reference section of your profile, there will be a green circle on the top left side of each referee section that was completed. If not (letter still pending), the circle remains grey.
● Does the order I choose to fill in the referee section matters?
No, the jury will attach the same importance to each letter.
● When do referees receive the automatic Email?
When you fill in the form, you will have to name at least two contacts as referees. You need to contact your referees before filling up the form.
As soon as you save the form (even if you did not submit you file yet, and even if your file is not complete yet) your referees will receive an automatic email containing a link. They will need to go to this link and follow the instructions to upload their reference letter.
● My referee did not receive the automatic email.
First, check that you wrote the email address correctly.
Second, advise your referee to check his spam folder.
You can then try again sending him a reminder.
If your referee still did not get the email please contact us.
● Can I submit my application file even if my referees have not uploaded their reference letters yet?
Yes you can. Once you have made your requests for reference letters to at least 2 referees, you can validate and send your application file. Your status will then be “complete – LOR pending”. Once two letters of recommendation have been uploaded your status will be “complete”.
● What if my referees did not upload their letters before the application deadline?
If you applied to the first session and if your file is complete except for the LORs we will contact you and ask you whether want to wait for the second session of admission.
If you applied to the second session, we will consider that your application file is not complete and will be automatically rejected
English certificate – results and exemption
The English certificate is compulsory for candidates who are not English native speakers and who did not follow university courses in English.
The test result must be B2 (upper intermediate) or above. You will find the equivalences here.
If you have followed university courses in English, please upload a document in the English Certificate section explaining it.
Can I apply to the M1 and the M2 year of the same master?
No you cannot. You must choose very carefully.
Can I enroll in the programme on a part-time basis?
The master program is a full-time program. Students do not have time to work and study a master at PSE at the same time.
However, if you do have a highly motivated request, you can ask for an extra year to do your master. This arrangement is made on a case to case basis and can be refused by the admission jury.
Please note that if we grant you an extra year, you will need to arrange your schedule with your employer as presence to all classes are compulsory. Courses are usually scheduled between 9am ant 6pm Monday to Friday.
